Racemate ("the App") is developed by Taras Lanchev. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your information.

Information We Collect

Racemate does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. The App does not require you to create an account or sign in.

Local Data Storage

The App stores the following data locally on your device to improve performance:

• Your favorite drivers
• Cached race schedules, standings, and driver statistics
• Your app preferences (e.g., whether you have seen the welcome screen)

This data is stored only on your device using local storage and is never transmitted to our servers.

Network Requests

The App connects to our servers solely to retrieve publicly available Formula 1 race data, standings, and driver statistics. These requests do not include any personally identifiable information.

Feedback

If you choose to send feedback through the App, it opens your device's default email client. We do not collect or store your email address or feedback within the App itself.

Third-Party Services

The App uses Supabase to host and deliver race data. Supabase may collect standard server logs (such as IP addresses) as part of normal infrastructure operations. Please refer to Supabase's privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy for details.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
